We went here for lunch today. It was the best fish & chips I've had in years! Really lovely and friendly, nice dining area and good value...superb. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in here after a day out on the moor and had cod and chips. The best I can remember having in a long time. Staff were lovely and welcoming and even in the short time I was waiting there were a couple of regulars which always a good sign. Fish was cooked fresh there and then was superb. Chips were excellent - great chip shop chips and not too soggy. And wall wrapped in paper the way it should be.

Stopped here with my wife and 2 kids for proper fish and chips. It was fantastic! Lovely friendly service and insanely fresh and great food. Took it to the lovely park round the corner for some Al fresco dining and the kids could run off the batter. Hope we pass this way again! Very highly recommended!

Found this place when in Oakhampton on a Saturday night and decided to go for take away cod and chips. Staff were friendly, service was good and the food freshly cooked to order. Good portions hot fresh and very tasty. Would certainly recommend it.

I was stopping locally about two weeks ago and a local person recommended it. I was amazed to find out that eating in prices are the same as the takeaway prices. Ordered standard cod, small chips and a cup of tea. Sat down in the restaurant and had the best I have ever tasted. I’ve had fish n chips in Whitby, Brixham and in the midlands where I live and this is the best I have ever had. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is comfortable, clean and nicely furnished.

What a great fish & chip shop! Really freshly done lightly battered fish & lovely chips. Very nice staff & eat in for takeaway price. Can’t praise this place highly enough! I hope that the residents of Oakhampton know how lucky they are! I’m not local to the area but visit regularly, & when back again will definitely visit as my fish & chips where the best I’ve had for ages.

Got there 10mins before closing and was told whatever i want they will cook it fresh. Only had pie and chips but it was fantastic . Definitely visiting again when I'm working in the area. It's even worth the journey from where I live in Cardiff. Great value as well.
